About

Samantha Lotti is a certified and registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (BCST, RCST®), licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and board certified herbalist in Chicago, Illinois.

I’ve been working in the field of alternative healthcare since 2010. The deeper I get into alternative healthcare, the more admiration I have for the inherent intelligence present in the human body. The content of this blog is inspired by my work and is meant to be a resource for my patients. Over the past couple of years, my patients have brought me profound and fascinating questions regarding embodiment and how the work I do facilitates the embodiment process. These questions have driven me to study anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, embryology, proprioception, and fluid dynamics in an effort to find the language needed to explain to my patients what exactly is going on in their bodies and how my work helps promotes embodiment and well being.

Every post on this blog is meant to be a resource for my patients as they go through their sessions with me. In my sessions I teach my patients to manage the ups and downs of their own health through embodiment. I teach them practical tools that allow them to make smarter choices daily. I welcome everyone to read this blog and use it as a resource for learning about embodiment. It is food for thought that can supplement an embodiment practice or help spark an interest in embodiment through some of the simple tools and resources I share.

If you’re interested in understanding more about how embodiment can supplement your life, please sign up for my newsletter. If you’re interested in receiving tailored information on how to manage your own health please contact me for session information through my private practice website.

Any and all questions are welcome. Don’t hesitate to find out more. Your body will thank you.
